I want to uninstall ghostery from Google CHROME! How do I do that?
I cannot download e-mail attachments now.

1Hi J. F.,
Which mail service are you having trouble with?
Uninstalling Ghostery for Chrome is the same as uninstalling any Chrome extension: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/.... -

I couldn't reproduce this. Which operating system do you use?
Did uninstalling/disabling Ghostery fix the issue? -

Windows XP. Usually google chrome will drop the download into its own box at the bottom of the window. After Ghostery installed, a narrow blue band appears at the bottom instead with various web address subscripts. Passing the pointer over the band causes it to disappear, and there is no download in its usual location. I have not uninstalled Ghostery yet.
Thank you for looking at my problem. -

You're welcome! I'm going away for a week soon, so if I don't reply, that's why.
You could try downloading an attachment again sometime, and if that still doesn't work, try going to chrome://extensions/ to disable Ghostery, reloading Yahoo Mail and trying to download the attachment again.
If disabling Ghostery makes it work, take a screenshot of the "narrow blue band" you get instead of the download and post it here. Also please let us know which version of Chrome you use, and what other extensions you have installed. -
