Windows 8 x32 , IE 10.0.9200.16599, Ghostery 1.0.0.1 (from add-on toolbar list)
Problem: no alert bubble & Ghostery icon is visible but does nothing
Ghostery does show up under Add-ons as enabled.
(FireFox ver runs fine on same machine)
Suggestions ???
Great product! Thanks

Hi Tom,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Are you running IE in 64bit or 32bit? -

The weird part is that Ghostery works on this page . . .
Settings are not reliable.- view 5 more comments

I don't think screenshots would be helpful but let me know what you'd like a screenshot off & I'll do it.

Reset all IE10 setting to default - still the same

OK, Ghostery is now functioning properly.
'Protected Mode' was ON & Ghostery did not function.
The icon appeared but was not clickable.
So, since I listed x32 in the beginning, asking was redundant. (10 days ago)
Asking for screen shots & not replying for 7 days . . . hummm.
Thanks (?)!-
Hi Tom,
I'm sorry for the delay in response.. I was trying to figure things out amongst other tasks and issues. I'm glad you figured it out and thanks for posting the results for other users that may encounter the same problem.
I am forwarding to dev to see if there is something we can do to make sure that setting does not impact Ghostery. -
