IE 9 Ghostery image icon is always the same color

I installed the IE add on and it seems the color of the ghostery icon is the same whether something is detected or not. Is this by design?

Hi Micky, thanks for using Ghostery.

It is by design: in IE, an icon representing the extension cannot change colors like it could in Firefox or Chrome.
