Is the program attacked on the internet?

I installed the program and was using it. it woked fine yesterday 18/1/2013 while i was browsing something killed your program!!! the icon wasn't more on the explorer i unistalled it and then installed it again this time a new icon was at the right side of the address bar ( why this new place?) what could have happened?
