When I load some web pages, content will not load until I disable Ghostery (case in point, a Foxnews.com video would not run in CHROME until I disabled Ghostery).
However, disabling Ghostery is a pain. I would rather suspend it for that one web page at that time (allowing to reload the url without ghostery running. Is this possible?
is there a way to suspend ghostery during the load of some urls?

Yes, absolutely!
Click on Ghostery's toolbar button, click "Edit Blocking Options", and then click on "Don't block on ...". This will add the page you are on to Ghostery's list of exempt sites.
You can manage the entire list on Ghostery's options page.Comment -
