Some trackers selected to be blocked are not blocked in Safari
In the last few days I've noticed that some items (such as Gigya Socialize, NetShelter and VigLink, Facebook Social Plugins and New Relic) despite being checked to be blocked in the Ghostery menu that appears when the Ghostery icon in Safari is selected, do not have a cross-out line going through them like the other checked items. Furthermore the list that automatically appears when a new web page is loaded highlights them as being active. Could you please tell me why they aren't being blocked and what I can do to block them? Thanks.

Could you provide an example website that you see this issue on? Is that website in your Ghostery's list of whitelisted sites?Comment -

in addition to Alexei's questions.. if you refresh the same page.. do they become blocked?

The screen shot above illustrates the issue and the website involved in that particular instance though not the specific web page. However, the problem is neither confined to that website nor occurring at all websites. It does occur on non-whitelisted sites.
As i recall, refreshing the page has no effect.

Apparently, the problem is sporadic. Sometimes, when a given webpage is loaded, the problem appears, other times it does not.

I just had another instance of the problem; below is a screen shot showing it. Note that the item not blocked but that has been checked to be blocked is a different one from a previous instance of the problem at the same website.

1. Ghostery does not always block unwanted sites.
2. Also how do I ADD a site to MY Ghostery lists?
3. Are there Safari or other Extensions that interfere with Ghostery? If so, which ones?

I'm using Ghostery 1.4.1 on Safari 6.0.2 and I have recently been experiencing an issue in which a checked tracker is not blocked and is shown as "white" on the alert bubble.
This happens even after having done a re-instal and even though my whitelist has nothing on it.
I would like to know how to have all the trackers blocked.

No details, really. When the list of blocked sites pops up, all have a line through them, except nRelate.

wow I'm getting alot of things getting though every day, I also update every day and select 'all' my browser is Safari.
A example, googleanalylitics will come unblocked, but go back or refresh and it's usually blocked after. Like Ghostery is letting certain things through once. I'm taking a screen shot of it every time and mailing to ghostery but no ones said anything yet back to me..
