Make Ghostery button moveable in Firefox (such as the home button)
Please make Ghostery's firefox icon moveable. I want to have the icon in view, but don't want to have my status bar on...

I'd like this to happen as well. It would be great if it was more like Ghostery for Chrome's icon, where it has a badge on the icon showing the number of blocked trackers.

Over 2 years ago! Bummer! I use my status bar for my "stuff", and I'd like to be able to park it there!
So please, PLEASE make this 'do-able'!-
Hi Sam, thanks for posting.
Ghostery icon is movable in all browsers nowadays, if you are having an issue, please let us know. -

I'm sorry--I was unclear. There are TWO buttons--one which IS moveable, and the other defaults to the right-hand side of the Status Bar, along with several others that are ALSO immoveable (damn it!). When one goes to Customize, that area of the status bar is 'greyed out'--
I can't figure out how to get a screenshot into here.-
Hi Gaia, thanks for clarification. You can disable the addon-bar display in Ghostery Advanced options. The other icon you can move around as you please. Next release of Ghostery will remove the addon-bar anchor.

THANK YOU!! Your little blue ghost is now living where he belongs on MY add-on bar!
Now that I know what that area is called, I can dig through the settings of the other 'misbehaving' apps and maybe change them, too. AND I know how to ask their Devs if they might 'fix it' on future releases.
Oh I'm ecstatic--and so easily amused...
