manually uninstall
i uninstalled this program(didn't install correctly) it said some parts had to be removed manually? what parts

Generally, if it suggested that something might need to be removed manually, check the install folder and remove it from your PC. The installation folder should be Program Files\GhosteryIEPlugin -

I tried and it won't remove this program. Comes back with an error. What now? I want it off of my computer.

To remove it, generally running uninstaller is fine -- for Ghostery IE you should be able to find it in the Control Panel -> Uninstall a program. If that doesnt work for you, you may need to reinstall it and then run the uninstaller -- this would only be required if you have tried to delete some parts of it. Finally, if nothing works for you, then the emergency kill is to start PC in safe mode and manually delete the Program Files\GhosteryIEPlugin folder. -
