missing settings on safari 5.0.3
on Safari 5.0.3 Ghostery loses the settings every time the browser closes, so the wizard has to be repeated every new session.

Ghostery 1.2.0, available now, uses a different mechanism for storing settings, which should resolve all disappearing settings conflicts.

Hi justby6,
Do you have Safari Cookies, or some other program or extension that removes browser data? You have to allow Ghostery to write to local storage, and not remove Ghostery's local storage data on browser shutdown.-
justby6 February 20, 2011 21:38Hi, I am on Win7 and the only such prog I can think of is CCleaner. Any idea how I can fix this? Thank you :)EditDeleteRemove

Alexei February 21, 2011 03:52If CCleaner removes local storage data on browser shutdown but doesn't allow Safari extensions to keep their settings, then CCleaner has a problem. This problem isn't specific to Ghostery; local storage is a standard way to store preferences for Safari extensions.EditDeleteRemove
