Numerous issues on Kickstarter.com with Ghostery enabled from Firefox version 19.0.2 - started in the last couple of months or so. Among the list of problems: Messages in the user's inbox cannot be replied to. None of the drop-down menus on the site work at all. List of projects does not auto-update when scrolling to the bottom as it should, etc.
Is there any solution to this that does not involve disabling or pausing Ghostery's tracking?

Hi Felix,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Which version of Ghostery are you using?
I just signed up and I am able to perform those functions. If you are using Ghostery 2.9.3 you can use the site-selective whitelisting feature. you can choose one tracker and reload the page and see if that gives you access to those features..
If you can send a screenshot that would be helpful so I can try and replicate the issue. -

I am also on 2.9.3. It looks like the offender is the "MixPanel" analytic. Allowing that item restores all normal functions to the site.
I'm not sure how to capture a screenshot for you. The problem is viewable by going to this page (http://tinyurl.com/c92557f) and scrolling to the bottom. The list of projects should expand, but all that happens is the "Please Wait" loading indicator stays there indefinietly.
I can leave MixPanel enabled to use the site, but I was hoping the team could add a surrogate script as described in this thread? (http://tinyurl.com/ccqxzc7)- view 1 more comment

Is there any new info from the Ghostery team about this issue?

Hi Felix, thanks for posting. Ghostery provides a surrogate for MixPanel, but in the case of Kickstarter, they are using a first party hosting for the api call which breaks the surrogation for them. There is nothing I can think of at the moment that would fix this issue.
