I am unable to open multiple windows in Firefox when Ghostery is enabled. New windows are blocked, both when I click on a link and when I try the menu command File->New Window. When I disable Ghostery, the problem goes away.
I tried installing an older Ghostery version but this didn't solve the problem. I upgraded Firefox from 3.6.16 to 3.6.17 and this did not help. I use new browser windows too frequently to have this feature disabled just because of Ghostery. I'm working on a PC running XP. This problem just started a few days ago. I had no problems with Ghostery prior to that, so I thought an update of either Firfox or Ghostery was at fault, but going to older versions has not fixed it. Help!

Have you installed (or updated) any other extensions recently?
Please tell us what extensions (name and version) are listed as enabled on about:support

Hi mizpookie, thanks for using Ghostery.
This is an unusual problem since there shouldn't be anything in Ghostery doing this. Like Eric asked, would you know if anything changed in the past few days for you? What are other extensions are you running? What is your OS? Do you run Ghostery with blocking? If so, have you checked with blocking off?
Let us know so we could debug further. Thanks! -

I had quite a few add-ons installed, and because of this problem, I disabled them all and then re-enabled them one by one. It looks like the problem occurs when both Ghostery and NoSquint are enabled. Also, the Ghostery icon in the status bar disappears when NoSquint is enabled.
The OS is XP (I mentioned this in original post).-
Hi mizpookie, thanks for letting us know about this issue. I've looked into NoSquint and I cant replicate the issue, but I'll spend some time looking under the hood of it on Monday.
