Ghostery.com page links to AMO for Firefox, so only 2.5.2 will be downloaded until AMO editors approve the new release. As far as being official version, it is, but the queue in AMO this month is long, so I've no idea when it gets approved. As said, this is the next official release, but do feel free to wait.
