Hello,
I'm using Firefox (25.0.1) and I've got Ghostery (5.0.6) in my toolbar. I used to be able to reach the options normally but it is not the case anymore. Since a few weeks (and even more actually but I didn't investigate), when I click on the icon, I only see the panel during a brief flash then it goes all white. So if I click several times, I can kinda read what's written, but in any case I can't manage my options at all (don't have the time to click on them).
Have this already happened to someone else ? I tried to deactivate Adblock Plus just in case it meddled (but I already had it before the "problem") and it doesn't change anything. I've tried delete and install Ghostery twice but nope again. I don't have any other privacy addon so I don't know where it could come from... :/
Thanks in advance for your support.
Best
Samuel

1Hi Semoreh,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Haven't seen this one yet. HAve you tried disabling everything else and see if it works then? Another idea is to create new firefox profile just to see if it occurs there as well. Can also try going in to the Ghostery options from the Tools drop down > advanced tab > Display options.. check the "Not ready for the new panel" option.. restart firefox and see if the old panel works..
Lets start there. -

Hello,
I've disabled everything but there was no change.
I'd like to try the Tools thing but I don't know where to go. Where is this 'tool drop down' ? (my Firefox is in French so it doesn't help, sorry ^^)
Thanks for your help already ! -

1If you don't have the menu toolbar enabled go to Firefox > options > toolbars.. enable menu bar.
Then.. click Tools > Ghostery > Manage Ghostery Options. -
