No alert bubble for Ghostery 2.5.3 in Firefox 4.0.1

I am new to Ghostery and I have just installed Ghostery 2.5.3 in Firefox 4.0.1. It removes Adsense ads from web pages as expected but I don't see any alert bubble (Show alert bubble is ticked in options), is there a problem? When should I see the alert bubble?

Also is the ghostery button in the status bar meant to change colour or display a count or something, user instructions not clear?

    Hi Harry, thanks for using Ghostery.

    Ghostery is supposed to pop-up a purple box on all pages you visit provided they have a at least one tracked page element. If you are not seeing it, this indicates an issue with your Ghostery installation. To determine what happening, I would need to know he list of addons you have installed (you may paste from about:support).

    Generally, there are very few addons causing Ghostery not to work, one of the most common is Yahoo! Toolbar. If you have it installed, you may need to disable it to have Ghostery work properly.
