I just added you to two other computers that folks use in this house. One runs, IE (Vista) the other runs Chrome (Vista) - I tried twice to download Ghostery to both computers and noticed that there is not 'cookie' tab, only 'Tracker' and 'Advanced'.
Short of a hot boot (see below) -- I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, and simply CANNOT get a 'Cookies' window to show up. Tracker, yes. Advanced, yes. Cookies, nope. -- and have spent about an hour trying to find key words that would bring this problem forward -- with no (helpful or informative) results.
The folks who have these computers trust me to keep them up to date and running while they are out of country. (I keep them on running World Community Grid 24/7 with monitor off). Both people are TERRIBLE at keeping things up to date. And one ALWAYS keeps his 'history' by using 'tabs' rather than bookmarks (the Chrome user) - so a reboot is out of the question. Though I try though C(:\)Cleaner and Iobit Defrag to at least keep them 'clean'.
SHOULD THERE BE A 'COOKIE' TAB IN IE AND CHROME (Vista)

1Hi Doc,
As always.. we thank you for using Ghostery!
In those browsers we don't have the cookies broken out in a separate tab as we do in firefox. The trackers tab has the full list in all browsers, but the cookies tab is just a sub-set.
Hope that helps! -

Hey Pete! -- thanks - I thought something was wrong with the computers -- and, (as a side-light) I play Banjo too- along with a dulcimer - have a couple of Vega long necks, and a Montana Silver Bell Special #1 with a 5th string added (yeah, eat your heart out) - but the Vega's are better, and I have an old Star that I hate to take the cat skin off of, so it's pretty 'dull' sounding, unlike the weatherKing heads. After 30 years I STILL can't frail, (or chord) but you should hear some of my modal turnings! -- you know, of course, Sandy Bull and Little Maggie and Camina Brauna . . . . thanks a Bazillion (the number of people in the Brazilian Army I'm told by Bush the Second). Doc!
