because: Not a valid install package

This is a Firefox issue, not a Ghostery problem.
The error means:
- The download completed successfully;
- If you got here via AMO: the file has neither been corrupted in transit nor tampered with in any way;
- Something unexpected happened when Firefox attempted to perform the installation.
Other people have suggested it may be caused by certain anti-virus / anti-spyware / anti-malware programs with "real-time protection" features enabled. What's different between the two machines?

Both computers running Avast anti virus. The one it works on is a laptop running Windows 7 and the one I can't get it to load on is an Asus EEE netbook running XP.
