Pausing does not stop all blocking?

Firefox 29/Ghostery5.1.2

When I visit http://kottle.com Ghostery shows that it blocks 6 sites. With blocking paused, following a page reload, it shows that it is blocking 7 sites - I was expecting it to be zero sites!

Is there supposed to be any practical difference between pausing and disabling the plugin?

    Ugh. That's a "parked" domain being monetized with Rook Media [www.rookmedia.net]. Stay the heck away from it. It's not a usable example because its content rotates. All I see right now is a blank page with Google Analytics.

    Also, Firefox 29 isn't due for release until next month, so I don't know if you're using 29.0b2, 29.0b1, or something earlier. Please make it a habit to include full version numbers in your postings.
