Here in the Support/Feedback panel, let's have a button to "Report a Tracker" we've just stumbled across.
In this case, Better Privacy identified an LSO placed by "aa.online-metrix.net". I don't know just who or what they are; typing their name into the URL bar just gives a "400 Bad Request" (which, I suspect, is what their site puts up, not a legitimate error message from within the browser). They give all the earmarks to raise all the red flags. Please look into them and add them to the next update...
Please add a "Report a Tracker" button to the Support/Feedback panel. Also, look into "aa.online-metrix.net"

Greetings!
Thanks for using Ghostery!
That is on the list of future upgrades.
Thanks for the feedback! -

ThreatMetrix is already in Ghostery's database.
If you encounter a site where online-metrix.net isn't being recognized, please post a URL, so we can see if the detection pattern needs to be adjusted.
"Report a Tracker" has been suggested before, and I remain skeptical. Obviously, it would be handy to capture O.S./browser/Ghostery version information, enumerate other add-ons, etc. But, if it's poorly implemented, it could cripple our ability to respond to emerging issues in a timely matter.
I'd appreciate it if you could flesh out your proposal a little more. Remember, Ghostery is not an ad blocker, and you shouldn't try to coerce it into being one. We really want to find more of the "invisible" trackers, and people aren't as likely to report things they can't see. Also, cookies and LSOs are usually a lot less interesting than the things that drop them; we prefer addressing causes to treating symptoms.
