Please create an "allow individual tracker" on a site by site basis.
I love your service, it give me a great peace of mind knowing i'm blocking many of the trackers out there (I thought cookies were bad). Though I would like to suggest that a feature be added to disable specific trackers at specific domains. Often times sites prevent you from accessing online content without first going through one or more trackers. For example current.com videos. Since they use a couple, i'd rather not just give them carte blache through the white list. Thank for the great service.

We are working on dummy/surrogate script functionality that will allow sites that depend on bugs to continue to work even when the bugs they require had gotten blocked.
This is somewhat of a case-by-case effort, and you can help us by providing specific examples of pages that break in some way because of Ghostery's blocking.Comment -

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but with many websites that allow posting comments - functionality is lost. With some, its worse than others. For example, on Politco.com with ghostery on- I cannot flip through pages of the comments at the bottom of an article, nor are the buttons to reply visible. I guess it depends on how its implemented, because functionality is variable depending on the site--- for example this is working perfectly.

The culprit here is probably marginal AJAX coding, and the reason it tends to manifest in this way is that few sites seem to use AJAX (I probably mean XHR) for much beyond commenting and carousels.
The strongest correlation seems to be with sites using jQuery, but Get Satisfaction is one of those as well — and as you point out, it's not one of the troublemakers.

Bah another good example I meant to mention-- with Pandora-- since installing ghostery I cannot flip through the "page" of my seeds on stations that have more than can be displayed on one page. I have a station with way too many seeds (like 12) and this requires you to click a "->" button to flip forward through the seeds in the interface. The buttons are gone and functionality is lost.

Thanks for reporting these. Until surrogate support goes out, you could add sites that break to the list of sites exempt from blocking. -
