I like to know exactly what "bugs" are on a site when I load it. However, the alert bubble quickly becomes aggravating as I continue to browse through a website. Please switch the behavior to show the first time I visit a domain in a session, but no more after that.
For instance, I visit http://developer.palm.com a lot (because I do WebOS development). It is extremely aggravating to have the alert bubble popup to tell me that, sure enough, Google Analytics is running for this forum thread just like it was for the main page, and the documentation page I visited, and that page that told me about coding for magical ponies, etc.

Hi Ian, thanks for letting us know about your thoughts. We currently provide a way for the user to turn off the purple notification bar through the options: its the Show Alert Bubble option. This is a all or nothing type of deal, and Ghostery is currently designed to pop-up on every new page load. we'll consider adding another option along the lines of what you want.
