Please stop spamming me with every single update.
I want to be informed of crucial updates that fundamentally changes functionality, but until that happens stop it, or at least let me turn it off.
The reason I have it installed is to get rid of annoyances just like this.

Which updates are you speaking of? If it is library updates, you can turn that off in your options menu under "Auto Update". Uncheck "Notify me of new elements".
If its another, please let me know. Also.. which browser are you using?Comment -

That setting is off.
Using latest Firefox.
I also have the 'old menu'-setting enabled.
I don't think it's a library update message since it's always asking me to learn about new features.-
That's the warning that the "old-menu" will be going away soon, and we hope you will adopt the new panel.
