Real-time sites
Just a heads-up, and this might be uncontrollable and/or intentional/by-design, I don't know. If you go to filehippo.com and one of the new Comments tabs (you'll have to uncheck Disqus bug to view comments, btw), you'll see Disqus has a "real-time" refresh update script in effect. I notice when it's on the Ghostery cloud bubble also flashes on then off, then reappears again at regular intervals. Perhaps Disqus update triggers this. I know a few sites use real-time scripts now, such as YouTube, not sure if the frequency which the bubble appears can be controlled per manual refresh. Thanks.

Hi Marcus, thanks for using Ghostery.
We're aware of this issue and it will be fixed in the next release of Ghostery for Firefox. You correctly point out that it stems from Ghostery's ability to monitor a page in real time. If it bothers you, you may turn this option off in Ghostery options. Its the "Scan for dynamically inserted page elements" option that you need to uncheck. -
