I've noticed that even when "look for and prevent redirection" Ghostery option is disabled, after a while Firefox will not follow redirects and instead display a blank page with a link "This page moved HERE". Following the link does not always work (i.e. it redirects, but destination page probably needs cookies/js/whatever).
Restarting Firefox resolves this issue for a while, but it invariably reoccurs after a while. Disabling Ghostery completely solves it - so it would appear to be Ghostery related.
I am using Firefox 28 on MacOS (this has been happening with a few previous releases of Firefox as well)
P.S. Ironically, it happened just as I was trying to submit this question, while being redirected from MS login back to the service, so login failed and I had to resubmit from the beginning.

Redirect failures even when "look for and prevent redirection" is disabled

Hi Han,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
If you can send us some examples that would be much easier for us to investigate the issue.
Are you using Ghostery 5.2.1? -
-
I am using the most recent Ghostery (5.2.1).
If I find a publicly accessible page where this could be demonstrated - will post here.
The problem usually does not happen for about 30-60 minutes of my average browser use (i.e. going to a few sites etc). Initially a page will properly redirect a few times. Later on in the same browser session attempting to access the same page will result in the "this page moved HERE" link, rather than actual redirect. -
