I JUST noticed that the redirect selection has gone from "Not now-this one time-always" to "not now-always" (with a Facebook redirect from IObit (which said "get free 'pro' edition" and then jumped to a Facebook page. I only wanted to follow that link once, since I have serious concerns about FB and privacy among others. IF this is a CHANGE (I don't know because I get so few of them) I'd sure like to see the "allow this one time" to be reinstated, (and if this is just a Facebook thing, never mind.).
And, BTW, I'm not much of a tinkerer with your program (and just saw a lot of folks don't seem to like the new UI (so much so that one person implied that the UI WAS the program (?!?!) - but the double bar (pause in many programs) that enables/disables blocking MIGHT be turned into an international symbol -- say some kind of 'universal' cookie symbol, like an Oreo(?) (or????) in a circle with a bar over it. Then a slash, and the sign without the bar, implying a toggle: ( no cookies / cookies). And I'm just thinking more about the generalized concept. Because of multi-language issues putting "on/off" (yes/no?) on the button might... !!!! .... how about a light switch - I THINK they are universal: up is on and down is off....... heck I don't know what I'm talking about there. Can the toggle be bright on the setting - OR - toggle between the double bar AND the isosceles triangle on side with a drop down on hover that says 'pause' and 'on' (ALMOST intuitive)..... just a fleeting thought.
Thanks for being so dedicated Alexei - AND diligent.
LOVE the feelings of security (with our government probably an illusion) you provide me.

Hi doc,
I don't think we ever supported "allow once" for redirects, but this feature is planned. You can subscribe to it here: https://getsatisfaction.com/ghostery/...
We already support "allow once" in the overlays we put over potentially useful widgets like Disqus, Brightcove, etc., so that might be what you're thinking of. -

1We've got some improvements on the way for the new findings panel in Firefox. One idea we are considering is turning the icon-only buttons into an icons-and-text submenu. Having "Pause blocking" next to the double bars should help explain what clicking there will do. -
