Why are trackers/analytics/widgets allowed to appear on secure sites-such as accessing banking accounts? Do they represent a potential leak of confidential information such as passwords?
I only recently noticed them noted by Ghostery, and can block all of them-but only after I get to the site, and if absent minded, after I access the presumably secure information. This has been true for 2 different bank sites. Don't like this situation at all.

1When someone robs a bank, it's newsworthy.
The other way around is not.
That's called "business as usual."
Banks have a vested interest in safeguarding passwords, so they're only going to work with third-party tracking providers they trust. That's not what you should be worried about.
