smetrics.news.co.uk (omniture) not detected

(following up on a posting in the ghostery breaks functionality thread)

I found that on the site www.crosswordclub.co.uk, there is a Tealium tag containing Omniture tag. If you allow Tealium for this site (which may be necessary as the poster in the other thread said), the Omniture pixel will not be detected. I guess this is because the site uses a custom Omniture domain not in the domain 2o7.net, rather a cname in their own domain news.co.uk. I wonder if it would be possible to detect the pixel url either by regular expression (something like domain/b/ss/[^/]+/1/H.\d+/s\d+\?, but this is untested) or by resolving the dns name it that is possible in the api ghostery uses.

(same issue is present of the site www.thetimes.co.uk with the domain metrics.news.co.uk, on www.thesun.co.uk etc. I assume the publicatons from news.co.uk all use this statistic)

    This is first party installation and doesn't fall into Ghostery purview. That said, we have something else in the works that should take care of cnamed deployments for Omniture.
