Despite proper setting Ghostery does not automatically block all newly updated definitions (I selected all and in Advanced checked "Block new elements by default"). Worse, some of them , some Widgets, it wont block at all. I check them manually, restart Firefox, restart my Mac,... yet on restart/reboot they are again unchecked/unblocked. They are:
YandexAPI
Yesware
Yotpo
ZergNet
Zippyshare Widget
What's going on?

Some widgets "unblockable" plus "Block new elements by default" fails

1Those versions are too old, and no longer supported. You need to upgrade to something more recent.

Greetings,
This is what I told you when you emailed me through support@ghostery.com. Your versions are very out of date and not supported. -

Globally Unblocked sites? Why?.
Love Ghostery. Used it since it came online.
But... Lately I've found Taboola (today 3-8-'14) and Adobe Type Kit (yesterday) and a Twitter Button (on this site) tracker, with blue colored slide buttons in the unblocked position and upon researching, found that that blue and unblocked position means that tracker is globally unblocked.
Why is that? And is there some way to override this action? They won't stay blocked if I move the slide button.
If I recall correctly, these were on political sites that I didn't particularly want tracking me.
Thanks for a great add-on, other wise!
P.S. Seems this won't post until I allow Google on NoScript. Hope not.
Soon as I temporarily allowed Google, the page refreshed, so I don't know if this post already went through. Trying again.
