Dear All,
I have this strange problem with ghostery--
when I use ghostery in firefox, ghostery (sometimes) fails to show
google analytics, but it works OK in IE8.
Example : parfemy-elnino.cz -- ghostery shows G.A.in IE8 but nothing in
firefox !
Another strange happening : tivis.cz -- crazy egg in firefox but IE8 shows
G.A. & clicktale !(?)
Could someone please explain why is this happening?

This problem could be on your end. I use Firefox 3.6 and it displays all trackers on your websites. I use Ghostery 2.4beta though. So maybe a bug in previous version.

Tasmanian, I'm also unable to reproduce this error. Which version of Ghostery are you using for Firefox and IE?

Hello Felix Shnir and thank you for answering my question.Problem fixed in Firefox 3.6.10 /Ghostery 2.3.1.With NoScript disabled it shows now 3 bugs in tivis.cz. (7 in avc.com?).IE8/Ghostery 1.0.0.3 still shows only GA & ClickTale in Tivis.cz (no CrazyEgg) and only 6 bugs in avc.com.

Ahh, that explains it. NoScript and ABP, depending on the installation precedence, could potentially block and remove the same elements that Ghostery looks for. If either NoScript or ABP executed first, its possible that Ghostery will simply not find the trackers as they have been already taken care of.
