Tracker list updates don't always work

When the "Tracker List Updated" popup appears and I click on "Whats new?", I am redirected to the settings page. All seems to work.
However, sometimes there are no new items in the list at all, even though Ghostery said there are. Also, if this occurs, it doesn't automatically scroll down like it normally would do.
