Uninstalling from Firefox
I can't find Ghostery in my add-ons, but it is there after restarting, so it hasn't been deleted. I tried from control panel, and still can't find it. HOW do I get rid of it? It keeps blocking sites I need to get to. I have read the threads, and followed the instructions to no avail.

To remove from Firefox:
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions (from left) > Select Remove from Ghostery.
Are you saying that you do not see Ghostery in the extensions list?Comment -

Also, could you give us some examples of where Ghostery's blocking messes things up for you?
