Suggestion: Make it simplified to upgrade. Instead of going to a separate webpage then having to scroll down to select the tracker, it doesn't suite the new UI. Seems a little 'tacky' Suggestion having the Upgrade button in a tab in the actuall UI itself, makes it simplier. Looks cleaner.
Pause Blocking, White List, Update. (Suggest tab like this)
When click update all the stuff on website is just in tab as simple as it is when selecting block unblock of trackers.
This simplicity will add to the easy usage of your program. That's the success of CCleaner. It's strength an simplicity. You've got strength just the update section let's you down. Other then that great UI and program.

Could you explain the current and the proposed workflows a bit more please?
If I understand correctly, the current workflow that you refer to is as follows:
1. Receive library update notification, click the "see what's new" link.
2. Options page opens, scrolls down to tracker browser prefiltered to show only new trackers.
3. You review the new trackers, selecting some/all to be blocked. -
