Welcome to 5.4.2? I never asked for this! If I can't turn engine updates off but leave database updates on, I will uninstall

I am upset. I opened my browser today and got a tab welcoming me to Ghostery 5.4.2. At no point did I allow Ghostery to update its underlying engine. I do not see an option to turn this unwanted behavior off. If I can't stop updating the engine (but continue downloading updated list of trackers to block), then I will remove Ghostery and find some other tracker-blocker. I feel betrayed and violated.
