what is tremor media?
A Ghostery popup at a website I frequent showed a tracker new to that site, Tremor Media, as unblocked. I had not white listed the site's domain so I don't know why. I tried the "What is . . ." link but got a 404 time-out. Anyway, I set Ghostery to block Tremor Media and that stuck, but why would a new tracker be unblocked to begin with and what's with the what-is time-out?

1When Ghostery's bug lists get updated, any "new" (i.e. previously unrecognized) trackers start out unblocked unless you were already blocking all bugs. Detection doesn't hurt anything, but blocking might. Ghostery errs on the side of caution so you won't end up in a position where "this worked yesterday, but now it doesn't — what did you break?" However, if aren't being selective, i.e. you're blocking all or nothing, that setting won't change. Once you start picking and choosing, Ghostery won't try to outguess you. Does that make sense?
http://www.ghostery.com/apps/tremor_m... is working fine for me. Sometimes there are temporary problems that resolve themselves after a few minutes, and that's probably what happened.
