Why can't I get on Internet after uninstalling Ghostery?

Uninstalled from a PC, Internet Explorer. Uninstalled from Control Panel using Uninstall Programs. Uninstall appeared to go okay but ever since, I have not been able to get back on the Internet.

    Thanks for trying out Ghostery!

    So you just uninstalled Ghostery from the Add/Remove Programs section correct?

    Do you have any other browsers installed that you can try to connect with or try updating your anti-virus to test your connection? There shouldn't be any reason you can't connect after the install, unless you possibly turned off your router if you are using WIFI..
