How do I enable the yahoo search window on my.yahoo.com ?? Pressing enter or clicking the search button has no effect.
edit...
problem is on firefox 9.0.1 . using Ghostery v2.6.2 installed today Jan-02-2010. I am using the experimental blocking. so what do I have to enable or allow for the website to work correctly.
chrome & ie9 don't seem to have this issue.

Hi twsmith, thanks for using Ghostery.
Could you please provide a screen shot of the broken search? Thanks! -

If I white list the domain (my.yahoo.com) then the yellow websearch button works correctly. Also pressing the enter key after typing text works.
But if I only turn off the yahoo analytics then the problem persists.
Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Terry, thanks for reporting this issue.
I was able to replicate this issue here. Looks like the search here has been modified to send your query data (the search you are making) to a known advertising and data collection company: Turn. The way its set up here by ATT/Yahoo, is that first, the portal sends your data to Turn and then, once Turn loads, the actual search occurs. Since you are using Ghostery in blocking mode and are actively blocking Turn, this breaks the expected response and so Yahoo search never occurs.
Ghostery behaves correctly in this instance by enforcing the blocking you've set up (tho it doesn't report it correctly in DOM: I used Block Log under Tools-> Ghostery-> Block Log to discover what was blocked). Your options are pretty limited here, tho Whitelisting will work or you may unblock Turn and the searches will occur.
Lastly, if possible, you should contact ATT (since it looks like you are a customer) and tell them of this issue, perhaps they'll see reason and change how the portal's search works. -
