Hi!
I have installed Gigpress and everything seems work right. However, when I click Download iCal and try to open/import the .ics file to my iCal, I get an error: "iCal can't read this calendar file. It has not added any event to your calendar".

I hope you can help me. And congratulations; you have created a fantastic plugin.

Does this happen with every gig, or just a specific one? I have fund that sometimes certain characters can throw iCal for a loop when they're present in the .ics file.

It could well be this issue: http://getsatisfaction.com/gigpress/t...

Are you on a Windows server?

Can you post a link to your site where this is happening?

Can you check for me if you have any extra newlines or whitespace at the beginning or end of your wp-config.php file?

I had one whitespace at the end. I've remove it, but there's no change.
Thanks for your attention, by the way.

What's happening is that for some reason, a linefeed is being inserted at the very beginning of your iCal files, which is throwing iCal for a loop. So finding where that is happening is the key.

If possible, I'd try disabling all other plugins, and also switching to the default theme, to see if you can find the culprit.

I've tried with the default theme, Twenty Eleven 1.2, and there's no difference. But, while i was doing some testing, I noticed that one of the shows works, no matter which template I have chosen. Specifically, the second show.

Any idea?

I still can't get any of your shows' iCal files to work - they all have the extra whitespace at the top of the file.

Were you able to try disabling all other plugins?

Hi! Sorry for the delay, I was doing some other jobs these weeks. I've just try disabling all other plugins, but nothing. There's no difference.

Maybe is qTranslate plugin. I use shortcodes into some fields; for example, at the Gigpress' admin panel I have:

Ages: [:es]Todos los públicos [:en]All ages [:gl]Todos os públicos [:pt]Todos os públicos

Could it be the reason?

Thanks in advance.
