Single Post Template for Shows?

I am wondering if there's anyway to display show information on a single page. So, my "shows" page would list all upcoming shows and I can link the title to a permalink which would display only information for that show. Is this possible, or are there any plans of this becoming possible?

This is exactly what the "related post" feature is for. Just create a related post when creating your show. Also, see the related post-specific settings on the GigPress Setting page.

What if you want to display a single show on a page, not a post?

Not possible at the moment, no. Pages are usually meant for more evergreen, static content. Why not a post in this case?

Well, I'm cheating and using Gigpress for a non-band website. We host dinner parties in various cities. I use a page for each city to promote the upcoming dinners. I use posts for recaps of the dinners after they've happened. Here's the page where I'm using Gigpress:

Ah, I see. Well, you can hack this in pretty easily. Look at /gigpress/admin/new.php, and around line 561 find this query:

SELECT p.ID, p.post_title FROM " . $wpdb->prefix . "posts p WHERE (p.post_status = 'publish' OR p.post_status = 'future') AND p.post_type != 'page' ORDER BY p.post_date DESC LIMIT 500

And remove this part:

AND p.post_type != 'page'
