account does not balance to envelopes

I am using the free version, which only allows for one account, 10 monthly envelopes, and 1 annual envelope.  As a result, my "account" balance should match to the balance of all 11 envelopes combined... however, my "account" balance is greater than my envelope balance.  My actual bank account ties to the GB account.  How do I "true-up" my envelopes to correctly reflect my account balance??

Hi Carey,

It sounds like you're saying that the sum of the balances of your Envelopes is not matching the balance of your Account. As you say, those two balances should add up to be equal, and if that's not what you're seeing would you send us an email at support@goodbudget.com with the email address on your Goodbudget household so we can have a look at your household and see what may be causing that discrepancy?

Additionally, I wanted to make one quick clarification that the Free version of Goodbudget allows for 10 annual / non-primary budget period Envelopes, not 1. So if you are on the Free version and find that you're unable to add more than 1 annual Envelope, please let us know!
