After updating my budget for the new period, all envelopes show a negative balance.

I had just about finished updating my budget on my android for the new budgeting period and noticed that my unallocated section has money in it that doesn't actually exist. It's just somehow over time ended up in that section, but I never ever use it or look in that section. So I tried deleting it and after I deleted the top line all the envelopes I had just updated turned very negative. I have no idea how to fix this, short of clearing out all of the data. I'm fine with doing this as long as it won't delete the previous months transactions too, but if there is just a way to reverse whatever I did I would love to know the answer.

Hi Ariana,

I received and responded to your email to support as well. It sounds like a fill was deleted, but it looks like you've already fixed the issue? Looking at your household now I see envelopes that are in the green. Let me know if that's not the case.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I just got the email too. What I did was delete all of March's transactions and then add money from "budget adjust" to fix the negative balance that shouldn't have been there. It worked for short term purposes, but now it shows that our income is a lot more than it should be and a lot of the previous months still show a negative balance that didn't used to exist. If there is any way to fix that j would be so happy; my husband and I both really enjoy having this app!

Hi Ariana,

We can fix it by going back and entering the incomes and transactions as they happened. We would pick an official "start date" for your budget and work from there to make sure everything is correct.

You can let me know via email if you'd like to do that.
