Any way to see the full Budget Allocation chart slices?

Hello, is there any way to see all the categories in the Budget Allocation pie chart?
At the moment is has 50% of my budget categories grouped and labeled as "other". I think this is too drastic, as the remaining categories have similar percentages to the ones already in display (some of them are even bigger but they get hidden/grouped nonetheless).

I could imagine a situation where grouping would be useful to hide very small percentages, but this currently is not taking into account the percentages of the envolopes it is hiding, it is simply removing the bottom half of the envelopes as I have organized them. I actually have some big monthly budgets for savings in anual enveloped (they are the last category) and I would like to visualize them all in this chart. Since a normal user has a maximum total of 20 envelopes, I think it would be ok to display them all, or at least have a setting that I could chose to view them :)

Love your work, been using it daily since 2017 :) cheers!

Hi Bruno,

It sounds like you'd like to see more of your Envelopes shown in the Budget Allocation Report, or otherwise be able to choose the Envelopes that appear in the Report. First, thanks for that request, I've added your vote to display more Envelopes' information on that Report to our features tracker for future consideration.

The way the Report currently works is that it simply displays the first 10 Envelopes you have listed on the Add/Edit Envelopes page, without regard to the budgeted amount, name, etc. As a workaround, what you might consider is rearranging your Envelopes on that page so the ones you want to see in the Report are ordered at the top, and then will show up in the Report.

This will not work for your non-Monthly Envelopes however, so another thing you can try is to use Envelope Groups. If you are using at least one Envelope Group, the Budget Allocation Report will default to showing the percentage breakdown of your Groups rather than your individual Envelopes. This can be helpful to allow you to see the percentages you're actually looking for.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the reply. Exactly, I think it would add a lot of value to be able to just see the all envelopes, or at least more than 10.
From a programming point of view I would imagine that the "others" category was added after having the full chart working, but in this case I believe it is removing value rather than adding it :) at least it would be nice to see more than 10 envelopes, or in my case, half of the pie chart is just wasted.

If there's someway I can help, let me know, I'm very fond of this project.
Best regards

I would like to see the chart include all of the envelopes, as well.  That would be very useful, but the graphic, as it is now, would at least be a bit more representative of one's budget if it's view represented the 10 largest envelope allocations, instead of the first 10 to appear in the list.  Just a minor suggestion.  Cheers! :-)

Hi John,

Thanks for your vote and suggestion! I've added them to our tracker.
