I think it would be best if the bar/graph (showing how much money is left) would "empty" towards the right handside instead of the left. Changing it's color to yellow, then red when you're overspending would also be great.

Hi denisboucher,

Thanks for adding your feedback! Can you let me know why moving the balance from left to right would be helpful for you?

For now, I've added your thoughts to our tracker.

Thanks

Hi Karisa - I don't know if I can explain it clearly., but I'll try. The line representing the relative elapsed time moves from left ro right. It seems to me that UI-wise, it would be better if the bar that shows what's left in the budget would move in the same direction... but maybe not... I'm no expert : /

Hi denishboucher,

At the moment, your Envelope bar should start at green to represent that it's full and when you add expenses, it decreases to the left. The ahead/behind line bar also moves to the left incrementally to show you how much you would have if you were "on budget" assuming that you spent the same amount every day.

Annual and Goal Envelopes with due dates will have a bar that moves from left to right to show you where you would be if you set aside the same amount every period.

You can read more about how the ahead/behind line works in our Help Center article: http://help.goodbudget.com/customer/en/portal/articles/845425-what-s-that-line-on-my-envelope-bar-
