Can I clear all the money out of my account and my envelope so I can start over?

Hi Lisa, 

Thanks for posting. If you'd like to start over from scratch, you can clear your data. That will permanently delete the transaction information you've added so far and set your Envelope and Account balances to zero.

Again, I'll note that clearing your data is a permanent action that cannot be undone. To clear your data, log in to the Goodbudget website and click on the "My Household" link at the top right of the page, then on "Clear all my data" (

From there you can use the Add/Edit Envelopes page ( to make changes to your budget if needed.
