Some background information. I set up all my envelopes and amounts. I have imported the past months transactions and placed into their respective envelopes to get an idea of how much I was spending in each category. I had negative (red) balances as a result, which makes sense because I performed no fill. Now I want to start the process of budgeting and fill for my monthly budget. The problem is I have these negative balances from the previous month and I want to bring them to zero for that month so I can refill them for the current month. I do NOT want to delete all the transactions I took the time to import and categorize to bring the envelopes to zero. I have tried to do a fill at the beginning of last month from unallocated in a cash account, but it won't let me enter an amount ( I was thinking I could bring the envelopes balances to zero by doing a fill of the exact total amount spent for last month, then do a new fill from unallocated cash for the current month) In short, I'm stuck and don't know how to proceed.
