creating pending transactions

Hi,

I wanted to create a pending transaction through the Android app, which would be an e-transfer I need to do a week from now. But when I create the transaction scheduled for that future date, it doesn't keep it as "pending", rather it deducts the the amount from my envelope immediately. I was hoping I could keep it pending up until the date I need to do the actual e-transfer.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl

Im an Android user like you.

If you postdate a transaction without checking the ‚ÄĚSchedule This" box, the transaction impacts your envelopes immediately. This is done to protect you from over drawing in cases like post dated checks.

If you want the transaction to impact your accounts and envelopes on the actual transaction date, simply check that "Schedule This" box. If this is a one-time transaction, select "Once" as the frequency.

Perfect, Alan!

I think I had this issue but resolved it the same way...then forgot! I'm used to scheduling transactions that run months on end.

Kudos, thanks.
