Decimal point in App

When adding a transaction amount in the android app, the default screen includes a pound sign (#) and a star (*) but no decimal point.  This seems a little odd because I need a decimal point EVERY TRANSACTION and would never use a # or *.  I have to switch to a "symbols" screen to add the decimal point.

This is fairly inconvenient, and if there is an easy fix, I would recommend it.

Hi Tricia - Great suggestion, and I believe that the Android app already has this feature. When you add a transaction and are entering a number into the Amount field, there should automatically be a decimal point on the number pad that pops up. Is that what you're referring to? If that's not what you're seeing, can you send us a screenshot to support@goodbudget.com so I can take a closer look? Thanks!

I also experienced that problem with my Galaxy Note 2, but I've since got another phone and no longer have it with the new phone.  Seems that this reported glitch is phone specific.  FYI, My new phone (Nexis 5) does not have that problem.

Hi Tricia - Can you double check in your Goodbudget Settings to make sure that you have the calculator turned on? When it's turned on, you should see the custom Goodbudget calculator, that by default has the decimal point at the bottom.
