Discrepancy with the number of days in March

On the 30th of March I had a small balance left in my "Groceries" envelope and the Android app told me that I had exactly that whole amount left to spend for that particular day, leaving nothing for the 31st, the last day of March!  Has that formula been changed or altered in any way recently?

Either that, or could it be that GoodBudget confused March as being a 30 day month?

You all are doing a great job with GoodBudget.  I don't know what I would do without all of your collective work and devotion to GoodBudget! :-)

Cheers!

P.S.  I didn't think to check what the webpage listed as available to spend for that particular day out of the "groceries" envelope.  So I'm sorry that I can't tell you if the webpage reported that amount inaccurately, as well.

Hi John,

I tried to reproduce this problem w/a test device but wasn't able to. On the 30th, the little black line should be a little bit off from the left. On the 31st, the black line should be all the way to the left and let you know you can spend whatever is left in the envelope.

Is that different from what you saw?

If you change the date setting on your phone, it should reflect what you saw on that day. If you're able, send us a screenshot of what you see when the date is set to the 30th so we can investigate.

Sorry.  I turned back the date to March 30 and set the envelope balance to where it was, but I cannot duplicate the problem now.  Oh well, if I notice it again I'll post about it on the day it happens.

Hi John,

No worries, I certainly believe that you saw it. It's just much easier for us to fix things if we can reproduce it. The apology's on us for the bug!
