Duplicate transactions

Hi there,

Sometimes my wife forgets to add a transaction straight away and I add it when reconciling the account. She then remembers and adds it later creating a duplicate.

Would it be possible to check when adding a transaction if a transaction already exists with the same date and value? If there is a warning should be displayed to indicated the existing transaction.

We can see how this feature would be helpful and we've added it to our tracker! We're currently working on updating our website so we don't anything to announce regarding this feature.

First post for me here. Goodbudget has be great for us.
A possible basic solution would be to have the ability to sort the transactions. On the the home screen the layout sorts transactions by Date automatically from oldest to newest on top. If we could select a sorting method in each of the categories (date, type, payee, amount, etc.) we could find same amounts fairly easily. Perhaps within the ADVANCED search option there could be a sort algorithm.
