How do I undo initial envelope fills?

I am using the mobile app. I entered my envelopes, and wanted to proceed with filling in my expenses. However, I clicked on automatically create Initial Envelope Fills, which I don't want! But I can't figure out how to remove or undo it. Please help!

I was wondering the same thing, and just figured it out: You go to the transaction table, click on the "fill envelopes" transaction, and delete that transaction.

Go to the Add/Edit Envelopes above your listed envelopes.

Sorry for the frustration! I've answered your question via email, and will respond here for others listening in.

@Paul & Dusten -- thanks for helping answer Javier's question. @Paul is right about how to delete the transactions. I'll just add a bit more detail for folks who may be using the website or mobile apps:
*On the web, go to the Transactions window. Click on the transaction you want to delete. Then click 'delete.'
*On Android, go to the Transactions tab. Tap the transaction you want to delete. Tap Menu > Delete.
*On iPhone, go to the Transactions tab. Tap the transaction you want to delete. Tap the trash can icon at the bottom of the screen.

For others who may have questions about the 'Initial Envelope Fill,' it represents the first time you filled your Envelopes when you set up your budget. In Goodbudget, you fill your Envelopes with money first at the beginning of each budgeting period (month, week, etc), then spend down from them. That way you always know how much you have left. I am having a problem with envelope filling. Somehow my envelopes fill a second time during the week. I set them to fill on Sunday but they fill again on Wednesday. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

I know how to delete the second fill but I'd like to reset so that I don't have to do this every week. Thanks.

Hi Rachel, 

Sorry for the troubles! It sounds like you have two separate scheduled Envelope Fill transactions. One that posts on Sundays, and another that posts on Wednesdays. To prevent that second on from posting, you'll need to delete the next [Pending] instance of that Fill. You can do that by heading to your list of scheduled transactions, and then clicking on the Fill that posts on Wednesdays and then on Delete on the right side of the screen.

Im having the same problem. If you delete the next pending it will only delete that one. How do i delete all pending to never occur again?

Hi Sofie,

If you delete the listing for the pending transaction (the one at the top of the transactions list in the scheduled section with [Pending] in its name), it should delete all future instances of that pending transaction, rather than just the next instance. It sounds like you may have deleted one of the posted instances, or you have several different pendings and only deleted one.
