iPhone feature request: Remember transaction entry form fields or have settings for defaults

I am almost exclusively entering transactions for one account on my Phone so it's annoying that I always have to select account when I enter a transaction.

Would be nice to
a) Remember last form state.
or
b) Have defaults for account and envelope what I can select in settings.

Hi jbtibor,

Thanks for the suggestion. As you enter transactions, EEBA will be able to prefill much of the information based on the payee you enter, but I can see how being able to choose a default could still be helpful.

I've added your suggestion to our requested features tracker, thanks!

The current prefill is actually more annoying than helpful.
Let's assume I'm not yur ideal user and we share EEBA with my wife. I have my cash account, she has her cash account. She does groceries at Asda, enters a transaction into her cash account. Next time I do groceries at Asda so I enter transaction into my cash account, but account is prefilled to my wife's cash account what is not what I need.

Hi jbtibor,

Thanks for clarifying your specific situation. Based on your grocery store description, option a) would recall your wife's previous purchase and would not work as you need. The defaults idea in option b) remains a good suggestion.

Would it also work for you if EEBA remembers the most often used Account for that payee? Again, thanks for the feedback. Your comments are logged in our requested features tracker.

a) would work if there would be more logins per household or the form state would be remembered by device (cookie for browsers).
b) requires per device setting too.

If most often used would pe per user or per device then it would work too.
If my most often would overwrite my wife's most often used then it would be the same as now so it wouldn't work.

Again, great clarification. I will add in your bit about 'per device' and cookies for browser to the tracker.
