Is there any way to zero out overdrawn envelopes without it affecting my accounts?

I stopped using it for a while and now it's all messed up. I have now gone in and entered all of my transactions but several accounts are in the red. I just want to start fresh with them without having to figure out how to repay.

Hi Julie,

Great question! What you can try is filling your Envelopes and 'setting' them to their budgeted amount. This will set them back to 100% full and wipe clean any overages. Then, you can go ahead and make an Account adjustment to get them to match what you actually have in your bank account. You can do that on the web by clicking on the Add/Edit button under the Accounts tab. Once there, just update the amounts. Here's a quick link: https://goodbudget.com/account/edit. If you'd like, you can also click on the Need Help button at the bottom right of your screen, and then follow the prompts for the Back on Track walk-through.
